As soon as September is here, the fall baking begins in our house! These muffins are my family's favorite recipe and they are so easy that even my kids helped!
Here is how to make Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins:
Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins Recipe:
(Makes 24 muffins)
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 1/2 cups canned pumpkin
1/2 cup water
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 cups milk chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Fill two muffin pans with paper liners. In a large bowl, combine sugar, oil, eggs, pumpkin and water. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, cloves, cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg. Add dry ingredients to wet mixture and combine. Fold in chocolate chips. Fill muffin cups 2/3 of the way full with batter. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
